What we do
The Department of Gastroenterology at St. Vincent’s Hospital provides a comprehensive range of consultative and diagnostic procedures in gastroenterology. It has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease including viral hepatitis, fatty liver, cirrhosis and liver cancer, functional gut disorders, therapeutic interventional endoscopy and oesophageal disorders.
The Department of Gastroenterology strives to provide quality care for our patients through a focus on patient satisfaction, ongoing research, and the education, training and promotion of consultant gastroenterologists, specialist nursing and allied health staff, research fellows and junior doctors.
