Colorectal Surgery
We manage all colorectal conditions and consult at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Fitzroy. In addition to traditional colorectal procedures and colonoscopy, we have an interest and special training in laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery, robotic (da Vinci) colorectal surgery, Sacral Nerve Stimulation (SNS) for faecal incontinence and Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMS/TAMIS). We are involved in multidisciplinary meetings for the management of both colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, working closely with our Oncology and Gastroenterology colleagues.

Referrals are welcomed for patients with:
- All anorectal conditions
- Colorectal cancer
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Pelvic floor disorders
- Abdominal pain
- Other disorders of bowel function (e.g. constipation and incontinence)
- Symptom or history-based conditions (anorectal, abdominal, family history of colorectal cancer)
- Pilonidal sinus
