POSSUM (Patients Of Survivorship – Surgery for UGI Malignancies)
Since 2017, the HPB and UGI unit at St Vincent’s Hospital has hosted a morning tea in November for our survivorship patients. The morning tea allows patients to mingle, exchange stories and to catch up with nurses, dieticians, physiotherapists, researchers, clinic staff and doctors in an informal setting. While enjoying the morning tea, short information sessions are delivered on nutrition, well-being and updates on current activities in the unit.
Recently we have commenced the POSSUM Community quarterly newsletter to improve communication. If you would like to receive the newsletter, please contact our POSSUM communication team on: hpbugi.surgery@svha.org.au
